I play the music I like. This is typically not one particular style but it's more about the particular songs that touch me, that make me want to dance or that just make me feel good. It doesn't matter if this is hip hop, house, kwaito, dancehall, azonto, soca, rock'n'roll, soul, funk, jazz, ... I like to blend all of it together in a wild mix of "feel good music".
From 1998 I played as a DJ in collaboration with Marabuh MC, with a couple of gigs throughout Germany.
In the year 2000, I met Dandy Swagger and we've been playing together by names such as iron fadin' or cut'n'style in a number of places in northern Germany - Bremen, Osnabruck, Magdeburg, Hamburg, Berlin.
Between 2009 and 2012, I was part of the Rakete5000 crew and we played a series of parties in different locations in Berlin with a crazy mix of turntableism and live drumming.
From 2012-2015 I lived in Toronto with semi-regular gigs in different locations throughout the city on the lake. Toronto's blend of cultures, styles and sounds, was very important for broadening my musical repertoire. I'm grateful to people like my friend DJ Ron Jon from Colours of Rhythm for opening up my mind to the broad range of sounds that this wonderful city and this wonderful world has to share.
